    Resets: Friday February 10th 2017 @ 4 pm EST (no delays)

    Factions



    MC Version:
    1.8 (1.7 - 1.11 support however gameplay is 1.8)

    Spawn

    Map Sizes
    • Main World : 10,000 x 10,000
    • Nether World: 3,000 x 3,000
    • End World: 3,000 x 3,000
    Economy
    • Shop prices completely changed. (Professionally done.)
    • Iron Golem Spawners removed.
    • Receive in-game money from killing mobs.
    Gameplay Changes
    • 1.7 TNT Mechanics
    • Obsidian will take 4 blasts of TNT (Previously 3)
    • Lava flow is enabled in all worlds.
    • Withers completely disabled.
    • Knockback Enchant disabled.
    • Mobs from spawners will now stack. (Excludes : Enderman, Iron Golems & Creepers)
    • Anvils will no longer decay at Spawn.
    • Natural mob spawners in the Nether will not be obtainable.
    • Natural mob spawning is disabled. (Must use spawners)
    • Shop + Economy completely redone.
    • Soup (Mushroom stew) heals 3 hearts.
    • Oceans are completely removed from the main world.
    • KOTH's added. (More info to come soon)
    • Loot protection (Disables after 15 seconds.)
    • Revert to Potion mechanics from 1.5.
    • GenBucket added. Lava auto generates cobblestone when placed on top of a block. (Shift to place regular lava buckets.)
    • Custom Enchants fixed.
    • Hoppers are not craftable. (Must be purchased in in-game shop. (/shop)
    • Super golden apples added to /shop. (Not craftable)
    • /baltop added back.
    • Envoys added.
    • Faction fly can be earned when voting. (More info to come)
    • No void in end world. Flat bedrock in the bottom with 40 blocks high of flat endstone in the world.
    • Slimes spawn in every chunk.
    • /sell hand & /sell all added to sell items from /shop
    • Nether portals can only be created in faction claims.
    Faction Changes

    Modified factions version 1.6.9

    • Command to manage faction permissions (/f perm)
    • /f top added.
    • Faction member limit is 25.
    • Faction ally limit is 10.
    • /f setwarp (Limit of 5 per faction)
    • Power increases 0.5 per minute.
    • Power decreases by 3 per death.
    • Maximum Faction member power is 40.
    • Minimum Faction member power is -20.
    • Inactive faction members get kicked after 30 days.
    • Command to manage access to Faction territory. (/f access)
    • Corners of the map are not long claimable.
    • Claiming in the nether will be disabled.
    • /fly in faction + ally territory. (Earned by voting daily)
    • /f stealth (Toggle whether or not fly disables against your enemies in their territory when approaching them.)
    Donor Changes

    VIP, MVP & Pro has been removed. We decided that 9 ranks was too much. If you had any of these, you received another rank accordingly. (VIP -> Elite) (MVP -> Champion) (Pro -> Spartan).

    • All kits have been modified to improve overall gameplay.
    • Many added permissions & perks for each rank.
    • Rank Upgrades removed.
    • All rank prices have been reduced.
    • /reclaim every reset. This command will give you a fair amount of money to get started upon map resets.
    • Overlord + Immortal will have the option to change their main chat color.
    • Kit Miner removed for everyone.
    • Nametags added.
    • Be sure to view all changes at http://store.mineverge.net
    mcMMO changes
    • PvP related skills disabled in pvp.
    • Unarmed completely disabled.
    • All skills capped at 2000. (Exceptions: Archery + Swords = 600. Axes = 400)

    Lots of other features/changes not included here yet.



    For this reset, we really want to bring the old school feeling with some new school features to improve the overall gameplay. Lots of things have been changed since previous releases but we hope that you approve / enjoy the changes.

    Also without oceans how the fuck am I gunna make guardian grinders? I mean, last reset u removed deep ocean but normal oceans and frozen oceans kept spawning... Plz say ur keeping them this reset. If u remove deep oceans ocean monuments still spawn, they just spawn weirdly. Last reset we found a giant square in the ground in middle of a snow plains and an ocean temple. Music, this is kinda TOO old school y'know? I enjoyed the previous resets but this...

    Removing oceans improves the overall gameplay. Sorry you do not agree with these changes.

    Ah this is like the old school factions when I joined, kinda sad that my kit got nerfed but it might be better for the gameplay!

    I really hope the economy is good this time, I think that that is what killed factions last few times. It was just too easy to get rich

    I'm confused,Is the corner claimbable? And are custom enchants added back? And is there grapple cool down? And (lol sorry) is spawn war zone huge?

    Corners cannot be claimed, Custom enchants are fixed.
    I don't know about the gapples and warzone.

    Yeah IKR, that is why I kept playing, hopefully all the old people will join again
    I am guessing it is (don't know for sure) but if KOTH is a thing it needs to be quite big

    Gen buckets are so op not sure if I like that one.. it's just lazy.

    Music did you remove all oceans? last reset there were frozen oceans everywhere which caused more snow biomes to spawn and reduced the number of other biomes...

    I dont really like the power limit... with it we cant build huge bases right? And what's the point of genbuckets when we cant build huge bases? Nevertheless, MV will still remain my favorite server, and I'll still play <3.
